Description

Ned is going on a trip with his wife, Barb, and their teenaged son, Scott, to see Stephanie, his oldest daughter. When the family reunites at Stephanie's college, they are introduced to Laird, Stephanie's rich, famous boyfriend. Laird's irrepressible, and goofy personality annoys Ned, so he is furious when he finds out that Laird is planning on proposing to Stephanie in just five days. Laird is determined to win the blessing of Stephanie's family. Though he manages to charm Barb and Scott, Ned remains certain that he will never fall for Laird like the rest of the family has done.
