Description

Pete and Billie have been having marital problems for some time. Pete's father died eight months before and he still can't let go of that moment of mortality. Other problems exist as well that the couple refuse to discuss. Instead, they decide to try to fix their marriage by taking their two children to the Alps for a family vacation. They ski, take photos and try to make the most of it. Yet, while enjoying a meal on an outside deck, a small avalanche occurs and, when the snow clears, Billie discovers that Pete ran. His action forces the couple to confront each other about their differences and problems. It also forces them to decide as individuals how they want to live their lives.
